Appreciation/Awards/ Recognition

(1) Recipient of National award from NRDC, Govt of India, New Delhi for the meritorious invention of insulator system for the Slip ring technology for tracking radars and received the award from Govt. of India on the Technology Day (11-5-2000) in the year 2000.
(2) Recipient of Fellowship from State University of Groningen –Polymer Sci. &Technolgy -Govt of Netherlands
(3) Pioneered the Polyurethane (PU) Technology in the country and developed several polyurethane systems and transferred the technology to Indian Industries.
(4) Was instrumental in setting up a 1000 tonnes/annum Polyol Plant at Kuttippuram, for KSIDC under Technology Transfer from ISRO.
(5) Developed PU based modified PU Foot prostheses for disabled as a substitute for the famous "Jaipur Foot". Attended the World Congress of International Society of Prosthetics and Orthotics in 2004 at Hongkong.towards presentation of the works in Rehabilitation of the handicapped.
(6) Hon. Member – PU Association of India.
(7) President of Freemen's Club, a charitable Society and voluntary social service organization at Trivandrum Conducted a successful rehabilitation Camp at Govt. Medical College, Trivandrum in association with ISRO, and M/s.Bhagawan Mahaveer Vikalang Sahayatha Samithi (BMVSS), Jaipur for the benefit of many disabled.
